The return of Verdansk has Warzone players hyped, and a new leak has revealed that a long-forgotten feature will also be returning to the OG map. It’s safe to say that it’s been a rough few months for Warzone. New content has been lacking as the devs try to address the many bugs and gameplay issues, while the ongoing cheater problem has been ruining lobbies for many players. But with Verdansk set to return in Season 3, the community is hopeful that going back to the original map will turn the BR’s fortunes around. It’s not just the map that’s coming back though, as leaks have revealed that the popular Red Doors will also be there. They acted as a makeshift fast travel system, as walking one would teleport you to a loot-filled room somewhere else on the map, which was extremely handy when trying to avoid the gas or escape from a fight. Once Verdansk was replaced by Caldera at the end of 2021, the Red Doors were removed and haven’t been seen again since. But with the iconic map returning during the lifecycle of a Black Ops game, it appears that the feature is finally being dusted off. The leaker didn’t give a timeframe of when they will be added, but it sounds like they won’t be on the map when Verdansk launches in Season 3, so Season 4 is likely the earliest point we could see them.
